I think it's there just to try and get the player introduced to potions mainly, but who knows? Witcher 2 Dark Mode Items All Difficulties The only upside to the potion is that you can see enemies through walls, but that's not really a big deal imo.
It wasn't dark enough to where I couldn't see, and in fact, I think the cat potion makes it harder to navigate. You're 100% sure that it is fully unistalled? Maybe someone else with Dark experience can help clarify, but that seems really high to me.For the cat potion, I'm pretty sure it's just a suggestion.
#Witcher 2 dark mode mod
Are you using any of the dark weapons? I've heard they're supposed to make the game pretty easy on dark difficulty, although I'm not sure what their damage ranges are.I too tried the combat rebalance mod initially, but I found it way too easy when enemies were going down in 2 or 3 hits. The swords that I have now (towards the end of chapter 1) are listed as having 19-26 damage. The starting swords have listed damage around the area of 10 or so. I haven't played on dark difficulty yet, but I did just come through the prologe and I'm in chapter one now, and 40 damage is really high. I'm wondering if it's something from the enhanced edition or could be the cause of any mod I've installed:Better texture environmentHigh texture weaponsReturn of the white wolfExtreme quality floraYou can see the damage and the well here. I can actually see everything even without it. com - Buy Sell Accounts - Selling 2 MW3 accounts( read description )(1). Could be just my mind but I don't remember Geralt doing 40+ damage on each swing even on normal. For the ones that already played on Dark, is it really like this on the beggining?Another thing is when you descend to the well and the game tells you to use the cat potion.
